A downloadable game for Windows

You awake on a foggy island, in a house you've found as shelter.
Something's off with this place... you have to get back to your boat.

This game was made in 16 days using Godot 4.3 for a video on my Youtube channel. It's my first first person game, and my second game in general.

There's certainly a lot of things to fix, but I hope you like it!

TLDR: how does the enemy work?

hey i played many times and i really like the atmosphere of the game, but i dont understand how the enemy kills you. it seems like most of the time turning the flashlight on instantly makes him dissapear. then out of nowhere im caught but i hear nothing. im assuming cuz he walks with no noise that he was catching up to me. then i kept looking around me constantly through entire playthroughs. always getting almost everything i need, then i see the jumpscare. anyways its a cool game man and i will follow you on itch!

Hey there! I give a little bit of details in my Youtube video, although not everything, so here's how it works:
The eye stat is your panic, based on how high that is, Herobrine appears more often. He can appear if you spam your flashlight on and off, or randomly around you, in that case he either stares at you and disappears after a while, or he can chase you, which deals more damage.
The heart stat is your health, the more jumpscares you get throughout the game, the more health you lose, when that goes to zero, you get the final jumpscare screen!
The best strategy is to wait at lights, where your stats slowly heal, and go around with relatively low panic.

It's not the most elaborate system but it's my first horror game ever! Glad you enjoyed it! :D
